We are informed by Mr. C.J.Tacchi, Overseer, P.W.D., Hong Kong, who arrived in this country on le ave of absence for the purpose of undertaking war service, that he joined the S.S.Kut Sang on the 10th Sept. waË subsequently transferred to the G.S.Nam Bang, and signed articles on the 28th inst. as 4th Engineer of the s.6.Sui
Sang at a salary of £13.13.0 per month. I shall there-
fore be obliged if you will inform us
The date from which Mr. C.J.Tacchi started work under your employ

The rate or rates of salary that he has been paid together with the periods.
(3)
The nature of the work undertaken by the above boate, i.e. war work or not.
This information is required to enable us
to determine what allowance if any Mr. Tacchi is
entitled to receive from the Colonial Government Funde
of Hong Kong.
